Video streaming platform YouTube is reportedly testing an “add to queue” feature for its Android and iOS apps. This new feature is already available in the website version of the platform.

9to5Google reports that when the feature rolls out, the three-dot overflow menu next to videos will include a new “Play to end of queue” option at the top of the list.

After selection, YouTube creates a queue at the bottom of the user’s screen.

This panel allows the user to drag the display order to rearrange it or swipe left to remove it.

When the user plays something, it is added to the queue and can be undone. According to the report, this feature (“Watch to Watch Lineup”) is prominently advertised as a “premium feature.”

Now “save for later” or “save to playlist” is a way for users to get back to something they don’t want to see right away.

To test the new Queue feature in the Android or iOS app, users can tap their profile avatar in the top right corner and click[設定]go to[新しい機能を試す]must be clicked.

YouTube Queues will be available for testing on Android and iOS until January 28, the report says.

Earlier this week, the video streaming platform announced that it would display an estimate of how long it will take to process a user’s uploads, allowing them to decide when it’s the right time to publish.
