Update: January 27, 2023 (1:06 AM ET): We thought the recently leaked render of the Coca-Cola smartphone could be a rebranded Realme smartphone. Now, the Chinese brand has certainly made fun of its soda-related announcements.
“Realme is really set to refresh,” reads one of several articles teaser by company. All teasers feature Coke and Coke bubbles, suggesting that Realme is indeed behind the Cola Phone.
Realme hasn’t announced a reveal date yet, but we’re guessing the device will launch in the coming weeks.
Original article: January 25, 2023 (1:42 AM ET): Over the years, we’ve seen many companies launch branded smartphones, from Pepsi to KFC. Now it looks like we can add another giant to the list soon in the form of Coca-Cola.

The actual color scheme definitely matches Coca-Cola, so fans of the brand might want to take note of this. android authority My colleague Adamya Sharma said in our work Slack that I would probably be better off buying a Coca-Cola case for my existing phone than buying this device.
The Cola Phone appears to be tentatively based on the Realme 10 series handsets. The Realme 10 Pro packs a Snapdragon 695 chipset, a 120Hz LCD screen, and a 5,000mAh battery. The standard Realme 10, on the other hand, offers a Helio G99 4G chipset, a 90Hz OLED panel, and a 5,000mAh battery. So this Coca-Cola phone could actually be a budget phone rather than a high-end experience.
