Towards the end of this year, WhatsApp will end support for certain Android and Apple devices. These devices are limited by hardware and software and cannot support the latest versions of operating systems. As a result, support for these devices will be discontinued after his December 31st.
Users of affected devices are advised to upgrade to newer models to continue using WhatsApp. The instant messaging application will continue to support new devices and also enable migration for users who upgrade in the next days.
This decision by WhatsApp was made as part of the company’s commitment to providing the best possible experience for its users, as well as standard safety and privacy features.
