Supply-side activity shows many large vendors entering 2023 with a cautious outlook, but the consensus is that parts of the PC market will return to growth in the second half of 2023, with the overall market expected to grow in 2024. that it is likely to continue. Windows 10’s end-of-life and building refresh cycles are approaching, but the consumer market remains his wildcard for 2023 and beyond.

Ryan Reith, group vice president of Worldwide Mobility and Consumer Device Trackers at IDC, said in a statement: “Comparisons will be skewed in 2021 as PC shipments were close to historical levels. Opportunities lie ahead, and we believe the market has the potential to recover in 2024, and we believe there will be some opportunities in the remainder of 2023.”
