Top 10 warmest January in Northeast Ohio history


Cleveland—Warm January! What a change in one year!

When all the numbers are averaged, January 2023 will end as the top 10 warmest in Northern Ohio. The average monthly temperature is 36.4 degrees.

That’s enough for the seventh hottest January on record. Besides, at Cleveland Hopkins Airport he only saw 11 inches of snow in a month.

This is about 7.5 inches lower than normal. His hottest day in the past month was January 3rd, with a high of 62 degrees Celsius.

Compared to last year, January 2022 was incredibly cold. 21 out of 31 days he did not reach a maximum temperature of 32 degrees.

The average high temperature is only 23.7 degrees, 5 degrees below average. He had two feet of snow at Hopkins airport last January. This is over 6 inches taller than standard.
