The best Black Friday 2022 tech deals • TechCrunch

You blink, and inexplicably, it’s almost Black Friday again.

Is it necessary to buy in bulk even though the price has been reduced? Probably not! Anyway, can you use it as an opportunity to save some money on something you already wanted?

I’m not trying to be an exhaustive Black Friday tech roundup. Instead, we’re trying to highlight some deals on gadgets and gear that we recommend even at full price.

Before jumping into the trade, we always want to start with a few tips.

  • If you’re buying on Amazon, use a historical price tracker such as camelcamelcamel to determine if the sale was really a sale or if the price was temporarily increased yesterday to show today’s discount .
  • Make sure you’re really buying what you think you’re buying. Retailers love to sneak last year’s models into the sales mix to clear out inventory. Well, last year’s models can be great!
  • Similarly, with things like televisions, it’s not uncommon to see old panels repackaged with new model numbers. If it’s offered at a significant discount, I’m interested.
