Ramat Hasharon, Tel Aviv, March 10, 2023 (Issuewire.com) – Tokyo, Japan-based Automotive Fund Co., Ltd. has announced that it has invested $1 million in Israeli voice technology startup Kardome.
Kardome is a voice technology startup headquartered in Israel. The company’s spatial hearing software significantly improves existing speech recognition systems. The software can distinguish who is speaking in crowded and noisy environments, outperforming standard voice user interface algorithms.
Automotive Fund, a subsidiary of automotive information platform MarkLines, is Japan’s first fund dedicated to the automotive industry. This is the first overseas investment in Cardme.
Venture capital funds expect the need for accurate speech recognition in noisy environments to grow as the use of robo-taxis and self-driving cars increases. Realizing that he needed Kardome’s technology to further develop voice user interfaces, the Automotive Fund invested in this voice technology start-up.
