I was curious to see how these rates compare to booking sites like and found the same queen room at a non-refundable rate of $360 per night. I think that’s a pretty good savings.

The Thompson isn’t the only luxury hotel dotted around the city participating in NYC Hotel Week, so you can save cash without sacrificing top-notch amenities.

Luxury hotels offering a 23% discount include Conrad New York Downtown, Lotte New York Palace, Times Square EDITION, and the charming new Park Lane Hotel across from Central Park.

For those looking to be close to some major attractions, consider the massive New York Marriott Marquis in the heart of Times Square. The Langham near the Empire State Building. Or Gansevoort near the High Line. Or, for a truly New York vibe, get out of Manhattan and stay at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg or The Rockaway Hotel near the beach.
