The French Maison’s Spring/Summer 2023 Haute Couture collection, which takes place at Chanel’s usual spot at the Grand Palais Ephemere, is a continuation of Creative Director Virginie Viard’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection, which was unveiled just one year ago. The inspiration for the collection was Gabrielle Chanel’s apartment at 31 rue Cambon, where Viard enlisted the French artist Xavier Veillant to paint the lions, doe, stag, birds and other animals housed there.
