oneplus: ‘Spatial Audio’ for Android 13 to be included with OnePlus Buds Pro 2: Here is what it means

OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 11 5G and Buds Pro 2 will launch in India on February 7th. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 are confirmed to be one of the first of his TWS earbuds to implement Google’s famous spatial audio feature. Spatial audio in Android 13 allows users to use certain compatible headphones and his TWS earbuds for a more immersive experience. Google announced that Android 13 will support spatial audio when the OS is first released in August 2022.

Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro phones can now play spatial audio. To hear audio with spatial audio, the audio content itself must support streaming services such as Netflix and YouTube. Additionally, users who want to experience spatial audio on Android should wear suitable headphones or earbuds. With iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, Apple had already added spatial audio support to his AirPods Pro. Most of Apple’s flagship products enable spatial audio.

It also includes OnePlus spatial rendering technology and an IMU sensor for stability and compatibility with third-party apps. The Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series now support Google’s spatial audio, but only the Pixel Buds Pro have head tracking. Compatible with Google’s Fast Pair feature, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 also quickly connect to Android devices. This eliminates the need to fuss with Bluetooth settings and allows the user to automatically switch between his two his android devices. Active noise cancellation will likely be supported by the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 as well. The wireless earbuds recently released in China came in two color options, black and green. OnePlus says the Buds Pro 2 have 29 hours of battery life when used without the charging case and active noise cancellation. In China, the Buds Pro 2 are available at CNY 899 (around Rs 10,785), but OnePlus has yet to disclose pricing in India.
