OnePlus has issued a new Android 13-based OxygenOS version for existing devices, but some people are facing issues.
OnePlus has been busy preparing for its global launch event for the OnePlus 11 series in less than a week, but the company has other issues to address regarding its existing users. The company has been concerned about brick incidents reported by OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro owners, and OnePlus finally seems to have realized he was to blame for the Android 13 OxygenOS update.
The company issued a non-installing update on its community forums, but the warning came a little too late for many who had already installed the update and were stuck with unusable OnePlus 9/9 Pro phones.

“During the initial rollout to some users, we noticed that some users were facing issues with the update not launching. , we immediately halted the rollout and began investigating the issue,” OnePlus stressed in the post here.
Affected versions were OxygenOS 13 F.19 with firmware LE2111_11.F.19 on OnePlus 9 and LE2121_11.F.19 on OnePlus 9 Pro smartphones. We have also issued a new update version F.20 to fix devices that were rebooting after installing the F.19 version.
The company finally realized its mistake and wants to compensate users affected by the issue to contact a service center or use OnePlus’ mail-order repair service to ship the device. OnePlus guarantees that the device will be reset to its previous settings and no data stored on the phone will be lost.
