OnePlus has started teasing its next flagship phone on its home turf. We now have a release date.
A recent Weibo post teased the OnePlus 11 (opens in new tab) Like its predecessor, the launch will first take place in China, with a launch date set for January 4, 2023. Additionally, as previously announced, he will launch globally in February, including the UK and Indian markets.
Thanks to previously leaked renders, we have a pretty good idea of what OnePlus’ next flagship will look like, and it’s pretty much in line with what the company released in the teaser video and images on its Weibo account. The main change from the previous model is the camera module. This is now a circular form factor with a triple camera setup.
As with the OnePlus 10 Pro, the company is sticking with Hasselblad-powered cameras. That said, the new camera module blends seamlessly with the device’s metal frame, a distinctive design aesthetic first seen on the Galaxy S21 Ultra and other devices.
Another great component captured in the teaser video released by OnePlus includes the popular alert slider. The alert slider has been an integral part of OnePlus smartphones since the launch of his first OnePlus smartphone, and a favorite of the OnePlus community.
Again, this should come as no surprise. A previous render showed the new alert slider next to the IR blaster for the first time from a OnePlus product. Nonetheless, it’s nice to see what OEMs have to offer in their next flagships rather than hoping for features.
Speaking of expectations, other expected parameters based on previous rumors point to a ceramic body with a matte finish. . OnePlus says it will have UFS 4.0 storage and his LPDDR5X. We also expect QHD+ resolution and a large 6.7-inch 120Hz refresh rate display.
As for optics, the triple lens on the back is expected to feature a 50MP primary lens paired with a 48MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP telephoto sensor. The device is expected to draw power from OnePlus’s own decent 5000mAh battery that supports his 100W fast charging.
It would be nice to see a flagship like the OnePlus 11 hit the market early next year.
With one of the latest Snapdragon chipsets, a 120Hz display and 125W fast charging, the OnePlus 10T is all about speed. Additionally, it boasts an adaptable camera system and a long-lasting battery.
