The new M2 Mac mini and MacBook Pro models are reaching some buyers and appealing to others. Meanwhile, iOS 16.3 brings an update to his HomePod, and listeners want more in iOS 17. On the AppleInsider podcast.
Apple Insider William Gallagher takes a short trip to London to meet the Apple TV+ “Slow Horses” team and relive the story of the gorgeous Apple Brompton Road store.
Meanwhile, the brand new MacBook Pro models, especially its lower-priced new M2 Mac mini, are proving to be a very compelling purchase. If you have an earlier version of the M1, you probably don’t need the M2 Mac mini, but based on initial reviews, you probably will.
Not everyone stopped by London and not everyone bought a new Mac, but what everyone got this week was a slew of updates, including iOS 16.3. This is one of the releases with significant improvements, most of which are not immediately visible. So Stephen Robles explains what’s truly new.
This includes iOS 16.3 including updates for HomePod and HomePod mini. More than two years after the HomePod mini shipped, Apple has enabled the ever-present temperature and humidity sensors.
Hear what iOS 17 enables and what Steven, William, and our listeners really want in iOS 17.
