MOBILE, Alabama (WKRG) — Two men are suspected of carjacking one person near Halls Mill Road and an investigation is underway, officials at the Mobile Police Department said.
Officials said MPD officials were summoned to Cherokee Street at 1:45 a.m. for carjacking. According to police, the victim was parked in his coat on Murray Hill near Cherokee Avenue when two men, unknown to the victim, approached him as he tried to get out of the car.
The victim told police that one of the men had a gun and demanded the car keys. The two then left the scene.
Officials said this was an ongoing investigation.
