An all-new mobile spin-off game for iOS and Android devices called Persona 5: Phantom X has been announced by publisher Perfect World and developer Black Wings. In-game purchases are now available and free to play for all mobile users. The game’s central theme is “desire”, and like Persona 5, Phantom X members participate in after-school events, spend the day at school, and explore several realms via the Metaverse. Persona is a spin-off from Atlus’ Megami Tensei brand, centered around several role-playing video games. When the player isn’t eliminating evil bad guys, it simulates modern student life in Tokyo. The new game’s story is an original story surrounding a new group of Phantom Thieves.
Persona 5: Phantom X will be playtesting in China on March 29th.
