Maruti Suzuki launched the new generation Baleno in February this year. Now, the automaker has rolled out a software update for his 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system in the hatchback that gives access to new features. Let’s know more about it.
The over-the-air update provided for the top-spec Zeta and Alpha variants of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno brings support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a head-up display and MID in the instrument cluster. A similar update was recently introduced to the Maruti Suzuki Brezza and is expected to be available for the Maruti Suzuki XL6 as well.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is equipped with a 1.2 liter petrol engine with idle start/stop technology. The motor outputs 88bhp and 113Nm of torque, combined with a 5-speed manual and an AMT unit.
The Baleno is available at a starting price of Rs 6.49 lakh (ex showroom) and comes in four variants: Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha.
