DEVASO has released a small thermoelectric cooler “DEVASO Fan for Steam Deck” that can be attached to the back of small electronic devices. The company primarily markets the device as a supplemental cooler for Valve’s Steam Deck, but the cooler is also very beneficial for other electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
DEVASO fans attach to electronic devices using magnets or a small adhesive. Fans require their own power input via the USB-C cable. The fan has different cooling modes as well as RGB lighting for added visual flare. According to the company’s marketing, DEVASO fans can greatly reduce the idle temperature of their steam decks, with marketing materials reporting temperatures as low as 3 to 8 degrees Celsius.
