At CES 2023, LG announced a new lineup of gram laptops. This includes Glam Ultra Slim and Glam Style.
The LG gram Ultraslim is the company’s considerably slimmer laptop, the thinnest to date. Only 10.99 mm. This is actually thinner than some smartphones (mostly foldable). At 998 grams (about 2.2 pounds), it’s actually still pretty light. Despite being extremely thin, the Gram Ultraslim features his 15.6-inch OLED display with an anti-glare low-reflection coating, and it’s also powered by Intel’s latest 13th Gen Raptor Lake chip. Making it powerful, it’s also pretty light.
Then there is LG gram Style. This is the LG gram we all know and love. Offered in 14 inch and 16 inch models. Each color option glows and changes dynamically in an elegant glass design. To make your laptop look cool. It also has a “hidden” haptic touchpad that lights up with a soft LED backlight when touched by the user.
Just like the Ultraslim, the Style is also powered by Intel’s 13th Gen Raptor Lake chipset. It has a Gen3 NVMe SSD inside. Don’t forget to include Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI connectivity. Dolby Atmos is also Gram’s first.
Besides the Ultraslim and Style models, there are also regular gram in 14, 15, 16 and 17 inch models. They also feature the latest Intel 13th Gen processors and Gen4 NVMe SSDs.
price and availability
LG hasn’t announced pricing yet, but the Gram is set to go on sale worldwide starting next month.
This is common at CES. Many products are announced without real information about when they will be available or how much they will cost. But there’s no question that the Ultraslim is likely the most expensive here.
