The Samsung Galaxy S23 is a bit closer to its final launch, but details about the upcoming lineup are slipping through the cracks. So far we’ve seen renders and some rumored specs. However, today’s leak gives us the best look at the Galaxy S23 yet.
Images of the base Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus have surfaced online. An unsourced photo posted on Slashleaks shows a dummy unit of the handset, a non-functional version of the device.
From the images, we can see that the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus may have slightly different designs compared to their counterparts in the S22 line. Both phones seem to opt for less curvilinear frames than the S22 family, opting for more angular bodies with rounded corners.
Another notable difference is the layout of the camera sensor. The S22’s rear camera was housed collectively inside the case, but these images show her S23 with the camera jutting out separately from the back. This seems to be in sync with the leaked renders we reported earlier.
Like last year’s model, Samsung could once again choose to make the Plus variant look just like the base phone. Based on the images, the only visually noticeable difference is the size of the S23 Plus.
Unlike the Galaxy S23 and S23 Pro, it looks like the Galaxy S23 Ultra will keep the same form factor as the S22 Ultra. As a result, they look distinctly different from their siblings.
Please note that these are not official Samsung photos. They are just leaks from unidentified sources. We won’t fully know the actual design of the device until Samsung officially announces its next phone.
