Frankfort, Kentucky (FOX 56) – The Kentucky Blood Center has many opportunities to donate with a mobile blood drive.
One came to Frankfort on Wednesday.
Mobile Blood Donation is intended to make it easier for residents in other parts of the state to donate blood. Held at the Memorial Baptist Church in Frankfort, the event attracted a large number of donors, who also received a “Do Good, Feel Good” hoodie.
The Kentucky Blood Center conducts approximately 2,000 mobile blood donations annually with generally positive results. Before the pandemic, nearly 70% of donations came from mobile blood donations like this.
