Stromer has launched the ‘ST2 Pinion’, the long-awaited sequel to the Swiss manufacturer’s ST2 Belt e-bike. The ST2 pinion features upgraded internal components from the belt and transition to an internally housed 6-speed pinion gearbox for a more weather-resistant frame and a sleeker image.
The ST2 pinion is driven by a rear hub motor with a maximum output of 750 watts. The motor is powered by a 655 Wh battery pack, providing a range of up to 120 km and a top speed of 45 km/h on a single charge. In miles, this equates to a range of 28Mph and 75 miles. In addition, the company offers range-extending battery packs with a range of 180km or 113 miles.
The bike will be available in an Electric Green colorway in April, with additional colorways coming soon, including Dark Gray and Moonray.
