As part of an issue affecting users around the world, users are reporting outages affecting Apple’s iMessage service, with messages sent from iPhones, iPads, and Macs failing to send.
Confirmed by Apple Post that some messages sent via iMessage are not delivered and the Messages app on the iPhone displays a notification confirming that the message has not been sent and the message thread But I still get an error next to recent messages sent while stopped.
Apple’s system status webpage has yet to acknowledge any apparent outage, but users were quick to report the issue on Twitter, suggesting the problem is widespread.
Currently there doesn’t seem to be a fix for the issue.
