Drone manufacturer HevenDrones has launched the first-ever hydrogen-powered commercial drone called the H2D55. The commercial drone is the first in a lineup of three hydrogen-fueled drones. His CEO and founder of HevenDrone, Bentzion Levinson, said of the announcement:
This commercial drone has five times more energy than a typical lithium battery-powered drone, and has an excellent flight endurance of 100 minutes and a payload capacity of 7 kg, in contrast to lithium battery-powered drones. It is durable and environmentally friendly. In addition, hydrogen fuel cells will be more cost effective in the long run. Commercial drones will be showcased at the International Defense Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi.
