How to enable wireless Apple carplay & Android auto on the 2022 Baleno


I haven’t tested any new features added (if any) such as turn-by-turn navigation on the HUD.

BHPian prediction I recently shared this with another enthusiast.

Latest OTA updates for 2022 Baleno (Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay):

After Brezza last got an OTA update featuring Android auto and Apple CarPlay wireless connectivity, it was flagged by the BHPian mi2n regarding an update available for the 2022 Baleno. I managed to download and install the update package and test that wireless Android auto works fine with Baleno.

I downloaded the file from here by selecting the current version.

Copy this single file directly to the root folder of your USB drive.

Boot the system with the USB drive plugged in and let the system perform the update

Versions supplied with the car:

After the system boots and detects the update package in the USB drive, do the following:

Press yes to start downloading the packages from the USB drive.

Download the package locally to start updating the post.

Update to latest version completed:

I removed my phone from paired devices and added it again:

Shortly after pairing, you will get a prompt that your phone supports wireless Android Auto.

Tried and errored and works like a charm:

I haven’t tested any new features added (if any) such as turn-by-turn navigation on the HUD. This is stated in the owner’s manual, so we’ll have to check later if the navigation functions work at all.
