HomePod mini and iMac prices in India?
The HomePod mini has a price increase of Rs 1,000 and now retails for Rs 10,900. Mind you, Apple has launched his HomePod mini with a price tag of Rs 9,990. It comes with a fabric build and four microphones that help you process Siri voice commands even when you’re away from your device.
Compatible with Apple HomeKit, the HomePod mini is powered by S5 and U1 chips and comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 support and a 20W power adapter. Like the latest model, it is equipped with a temperature and humidity sensor and a stereo pair function. You can choose from 5 colors: white, yellow, orange, blue and gray.
As for the iMac, Apple has increased the price of the 24-inch version by a whopping Rs 10,000. Launching in April 2021 at Rs 1,19,900, the iMac is available in multiple configurations and powered by M1 silicon. The base variant of the 24-inch iMac features an M2 octa-core CPU backed by a 7-core GPU, offering 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. An 8-core CPU and an 8-core GPU can be purchased for Rs 1,49,900.
Have other markets seen similar price increases?
After all, India isn’t the only country where Apple has increased the price of the HomePod mini and iMac. Prices for these products also appear to have increased in countries such as France and the UK, but in countries such as New Zealand, the HomePod mini has only increased in price by NZ$20.
The new prices are now reflected on the Apple India website, but the HomePod mini and 24-inch iMac will continue to be sold at the old prices at Apple’s authorized retailers and e-commerce platforms.
