Digital cinema and hardware manufacturer Blackmagic Design has released the new high end Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro. It features a compact all-in-one design and a lightweight carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate body. Blackmagic Design CEO Grant Petty had this to say about the studio’s camera announcement: We think live production customers will love it. ”
The studio camera features a large integrated 7″ HDR viewfinder, EF lens mount, large 6K sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range, built-in remote controllable ND filters, and built-in live streaming capabilities. I’m here. A great feature of all this is the built-in ND filters designed to match the colorimetry and comes with 2, 4 and 6 stop filters that can adapt under strong lighting. The ND filters can be controlled with the remote or the function button on the back of the camera. This studio camera is available for $2,495.
