Google Nearby Share gets Material You redesign on Android

San Francisco, Dec. 30 (SocialNews.XYZ) Tech giant Google has unveiled a new Material You design for its Nearby Share app for Android phones and tablets.

According to SamMobile, the update is available for all Android devices, and the latest December Google Play system update brings a tweak to Nearby Share’s Material You.

The revamped Material You brings visual changes to the main UI that users interact with in the Nearby Share app.

When the app is ‘seeking nearby devices’, a new wave animation runs from left to right. Also, the text font is slightly larger and centered.

Additionally, according to the report, users see larger shared previews compared to their current previews.

It will take some time for the update to reach everyone, but users will be assured of getting the latest version of the security update, the report adds.

In November, Google rolled out the Material You toggle design to Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

9To5Google reports that the Material 3 (M3) switch is bigger than its predecessor because it’s designed like a tablet.

New color mapping, taller and wider tracks, and icon holding capacity on the switch thumb are all hallmarks of the M3 Toggle.
