Google lets you choose illustrations as profile pictures of contacts on Android | Digit

In September 2021, Google announced a new feature for Gmail, ‘Google Illustrations’. This tool allowed users to create and set a custom girlfriend profile picture in their Gmail account. Google recently made this feature available to Google Contacts as well.

This feature allows users to create and use custom profile pictures. Now available in Google Contacts, it can be used to set a profile picture for any contact. A new tab named “Illustration” will appear next to “Google Photos” and “Device Photos”.

In the “Illustration” special feature, a huge collection of photographs is posted. Some of these are animals, places and cities, nature, food, hobbies and interests, sports and recreation. These collections were available in the Gmail version of Illustrations, but since the feature launched, Google has added many more photos and illustrations to each of these subcategories.

When it comes to using this feature, all you have to do is select one from the many available photos and set it as your profile picture. It has a new feature to highlight the eye-catching parts of an image and merge it with other color tools to make your illustrations more engaging and immersive. .
