Verizon is offering free access to premium Netflix subscriptions when customers join the +Play beta. If he’s already a Verizon subscriber, it’s worth considering, especially if you enjoy the streaming service. However, it has a kind of pitfall. No wonder, because Verizon doesn’t just give away free stuff for free.
First, you may ask what +Play is and why I should care. And that’s a perfectly understandable reaction. +Play is basically a hub for all your favorite media. Whether it’s games, movies, sports, or music, it’s all in one place and easy to access. It’s where you manage and access all your subscriptions.
If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, you should definitely sign up for the beta. For example, Verizon’s mobile, 5G Home, or LTE Home internet plans are available. However, you may need to be a postpaid customer.
+Play Beta comes with Netflix for 1 year
yes. Join the +Play Beta and get Netflix’s premium plan for free for one year. Verizon says it’s only available for a limited time, and free Netflix is just part of early access. So I don’t want to wait too long. That said, to get Netflix for free you have to subscribe to something else.
Once you get early access to the beta, you’ll need to subscribe to any number of other services through +Play. Also, it must be a 12-month or seasonal subscription. So monthly doesn’t work here. A few other details worth noting – Netflix’s free year is for the 4K Premium plan.
To get this promotion, you must sign up for an NFL+ Premium, NBA League Pass Premium, Peleton App Annual Plan, or Calm Premium, AMC+, or Super Duolingo Annual Plan. All of them will be under $130. So it’s at least $110 cheaper than Netflix Premium throughout the year. The cheapest plan is the NFL+ Premium Season Plan. It’s only $25. So if you just want to spend the least amount of money, this is probably the way to go.
If you’re interested in signing up for the beta, you can sign up here. You can also find all eligible plans here.
