After several years of iOS-only releases, Various Daylife is finally on Android. However, not everyone is happy with the game’s price tag.
Square Enix’s Different Days is an RPG focused on the newly discovered land, the city of Antothia. It takes place in the year 211 of the Imperial Empire, and your goal is to live the best life in the city of Erebia.
nice game, great price
Despite receiving positive feedback from viewers, the Android community is still reluctant to purchase Various Daylife. The game has now been downloaded over 100 times on Google Play after the studio released the game two days before his. The download stats may seem disappointing, but there’s certainly a potential reason for it: the price of the game.
The various Daylife costs £18.99 in the UK and over $20 in the US. Needless to say, the price is significantly higher than most mobile games on Android, especially most RPGs.
What’s even more disappointing about the developer’s choice to price the game so high is that the game isn’t even new. Variety of Daylife was first released on iOS in 2019.
In a Reddit post under r/AndroidGaming, the community was clearly unimpressed.
One Reddit user, @Fallen_winged_boy, replies to someone stating interest in the game as “same but €25 for a mobile game”.
From iOS-only to multi-platform games
As I said before, Various Daylife has had quite the journey. It was first launched as an iOS exclusive in 2019. The developer has expanded the game’s reach with the release of his Switch, PC, and Playstation 4 in late 2022. For reasons unknown, Android has lagged behind various Daylife parties.
Various Daylife is available on Google Play.
