Food Truck Billboards : food truck billboard

McDonald’s Sweden recently launched a new fried chicken burger inspired by street food culture. As part of the launch campaign, the fast food giant turned digital outdoor advertising (DOOH) billboards into digital food trucks, giving people the chance to try his new burgers for free 24 hours a day.

Digital food trucks were placed in two locations near physical McDonald’s restaurants. To order, we had to scan his QR code displayed on the sign. This prompts the digital food truck’s virtual chef to prepare a new burger coupon. The coupons were sent directly to McDonald’s app, where customers could complete orders and pick up food from nearby restaurants.

This unique advertising approach allowed McDonald’s to grab the attention of passers-by and get them talking about their updated menu. By leveraging technology, the company was able to offer customers a fun and interactive experience and promote its new burger in a highly engaging manner.

McDonald’s isn’t the first brand to incorporate DOOH advertising into its marketing campaigns. However, this innovative approach shows how brands can leverage technology to create exciting and immersive brand experiences that capture the attention of their audience and help them stand out from the competition.
