BMW continues to push the creative boundaries when presenting new looks for the I Vision Dee concept. It features a Mixed Reality Slider that controls the digital content that can be shown on a ‘heads-up display’ using a unique ‘Shy Tech’ sensor. The car can also greet other drivers with a personalized welcome scenario decorated with lights, sounds and graphic elements.
Adrian van Hooydonk, Head of BMW Group Design, said in a press release: The vehicle itself becomes a portal to the digital world, always in the driver’s control. Implemented the right way, technology can create valuable experiences, become better drivers, and bring humans and machines closer together. ”
