The Halide app, a mobile tool designed to enhance photography on the platform, launches a new neural telephoto feature. The app is available for purchase from the Apple App Store and helps users capture the perfect shot. By opting for this new feature, users who do not have a Pro device will be able to enhance their camera with telephoto zoom levels.
The company describes the feature as a “virtual telephoto lens,” but it has a built-in machine learning system that can enhance details instead of blurry, pixelated images captured in zoomed-in shots. And it’s made to feel like a tactile film camera for an old-school experience.
