Australian audio technology company RØDE has released a new cost-effective wireless microphone called the Wireless ME System. This microphone is the latest addition to RØDE’s vast line of wireless microphones. The wireless microphone is designed to be fast and convenient for content creators, bloggers, influencers and mobile journalists of all experience levels.
The Wireless ME System uses a system similar to RØDE’s GO II and is a single channel system. However, being a budget option wireless microphone, it doesn’t come with backup recording. It consists of a single receiver and an integrated microphone with a clip-on transmitter. Using 2.4 GHz digital transmission with built-in encryption, the wireless microphone delivers a clear voice signal at distances of up to 656 feet. The transmitter also has a 3.5 mm input that allows you to connect a lavalier mic for covert capture with your camera. Additionally, the wireless mic includes 7 hours of battery life with USB power charging. The Wireless ME System is available for $149.
