LG has launched the CineBeam Smart portable projector, the latest release in the company’s ‘CineBeam’ image projector series. The device is square at 2.6 inches high and 5.8 inches wide, so the Smart has an incredibly small chassis, taking up just a few square inches of space on your desk or table. Despite the device’s small size, this projector outputs a screen of up to 120 inches displaying 1920 x 1080p resolution.
The display has a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a maximum viewing angle of 30 degrees. This means that the projector can be slightly offset against the wall while still displaying an accurate image. Since this is a smart projector, LG has loaded the device with his webOS 22, the company’s smart TV operating system. As a result, the projector supports video streaming services, content casting, and the ability to display media from connected hardware.
