Warwick, England-based design firm CALLUM has partnered with green tech company Ottan to create a conceptual Porsche 911 made from coffee pulp. The concept car features a sustainable cabin with various parts such as the dashboard, cup holders and various other components and is made from an eco-friendly blend of eggshells, coffee pulp and more. increase.
The companies believe these materials will be fully compatible and viable for automotive use by 2030, although production of the materials could be accelerated and used earlier. CALLUM is currently testing its material blends and believes it will rush towards vehicle-ready certification.
Besides being sustainable and durable, CALLUM material blends are also flame retardant, making them even more suitable for vehicle interiors if they pass full certification.
