Disney will unveil a new Magical Companion at CES 2023 this week. This is a digital voice assistant that brings to mind familiar characters. This includes voices from Star Wars, Pixar, Disney, and more. Alert users with various notifications such as set timers, weather and alarms.
In addition to this, it creates a personal and gamified approach with a variety of Disney-loyal games and stories. Additionally, the user does not know which character will respond to the voice prompts, which adds an element of surprise. Starting with “Hey Disney!”, Alexa custom built on his assistant’s voice AI. It is currently installed in some hotel rooms at the Polynesian Village Resort.
