Motorola ThinkPhone confirmed. A “business-grade” Android smartphone

Motorola has confirmed the existence and launch of its “business-grade” Android smartphone, the Motorola ThinkPhone. The Lenovo-owned brand was teasing a premium phone on Twitter. The ThinkPhone will be his first Android smartphone to bear the “Think” brand, previously reserved for premium business laptops. Let’s see all available information about Motorola ThinkPhone.

Motorola officially confirms that the ThinkPhone will launch this week.

Motorola has officially confirmed the launch of its new “business grade” smartphone. The Motorola ThinkPhone will be unveiled at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show this week.

As evident from the tweet, Motorola hinted at a ThinkPhone back panel design with “ThinkPhone by Motorola” printed in the lower right corner. The image shows the textured rear panel that curves into the frame. You can see the antenna wires on the frame, which strongly suggests that Motorola is using a metal chassis.

There’s a button with a red accent, but the company doesn’t indicate its purpose. The ThinkPhone seems to adopt a flat frame.

Since the Motorola ThinkPhone is a Think branded product, it should have some productivity-focused features. Motorola has been quiet about this feature, but there are also rumors that the phone will connect to your laptop and perform tasks wirelessly.

Some promotional images of the Motorola ThinkPhone have been leaked before. These images show that ThinkPhone users can answer phone calls, check messages, and control music playback directly from their laptops. The image hints at some of the features such as “Connect Display”, “Mirror Phone” and “Webcam”.

Motorola ThinkPhone rumored specs, features

Motorola has confirmed the existence of the Motorola ThinkPhone. However, multiple leaks claim the smartphone will feature a 6.6-inch Full HD+ P-OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Together, they should have 8GB or 12GB of RAM.

A mysterious Lenovo smartphone belonging to the ‘Think’ sub-brand is rumored to work with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The phone can house a 5000mAh battery that is rumored to support 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

In addition to the OIS-enabled 50MP primary camera, there could be a 13MP secondary ultra wide angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. A premium Android smartphone appears to have an aluminum frame inlaid with aramid fibers. Previous reports claimed the phone measures 158.76mm x 74.38mm x 8.26mm and can run Android 13 right out of the box.
