It wouldn’t be a playoff victory for the Bengals without Eli Apple grabbing the headlines.
Cincinnati’s cornerback is his team’s 27-10 division round win Over the Buffalo Bills in a bystander spanking celebration.
The 27-year-old defensive back played a key role in the Bengals’ dominant defensive display, recording the winning streak with six tackles (five solo) and one pass defense.
That pass split came at a crucial moment with 7:32 left in the final quarter with Josh Allen and Co. facing the 4th and 6th at the Bengals’ 16-yard line. Shotgun Allen fired a shot from the right side of the end zone towards Gabe Davis, but Apple held his ground and beat him comfortably.
