Apple has started hiring employees at its first retail store in Malaysia, according to a new Bloomberg report.

The Cupertino tech giant recently posted a job listing on its job board in Malaysia. These include store managers, store managers, operational professionals, business professionals, technical experts and professionals, support his staff, creatives, and sales personnel. The listing indicates that the position is for his own retail stores and not for third-party resellers already in the country.Apple also operates an online store in Malaysia. I’m here.

The job listing doesn’t say at all where Malaysia’s first Apple store will be located, but reports suggest it will likely be built in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur.

This development strengthens Apple’s presence in the Asian region. Back in November 2015, Apple opened a retail store in Singapore. Three years later, the tech giant opened another store in neighboring Thailand. In addition, the company also recently posted job listings for its first location in India. This has been going on for several years now.

Apple doesn’t report sales in individual countries, but the company pulled in more than $29 billion from its Asia-Pacific segment last fiscal year, according to Bloomberg.

Apple has not yet commented on this report.
