Apple has started recruiting staff in preparation for its retail expansion in Malaysia, making the chain its first in an Asian country. The company recently posted job vacancies on its Malaysian site website, looking for shop managers, technical specialists, support employees, business salesmen, and operations specialists. According to the post, these jobs will be for Apple’s retail stores rather than the long-running third-party reseller site in Malaysia.
With stores in Thailand and Singapore, the move will increase Apple’s market share in Southeast Asia.
Apple’s entry into the Malaysian market represents the company’s continued attempt to improve its market share in the region and expand its retail footprint across the globe.
