Flick sued Apple in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas on Friday, one day after it filed a similarly worded complaint against Google LLC in the same court. The company has accused the tech giant of infringing US patent numbers 9,465,451 and 9,965,237 through augmented reality software that developers can use to build applications on their respective platforms.
The ‘451 patent is for a method of obtaining and displaying supplemental data about movies, games, and other video content.
