According to cyber experts, Android smartphone owners are alerted about software updates through their devices, but they should check each device and check app permissions.
“Android security patch level refers to the monthly manifesto of security patches deployed by Google to close security holes and malicious code exploits in the Android OS,” says cybersecurity blog MalwareBytes Labs. .
“The newer the patch level, the less vulnerable your device is to security exploits.”
This update is available for Android 10, 11, 12, 12L, and 13.

Google’s Android Open Source Project (AOSP) says:
