Jones recently shared the heartbreaking news that his art studio burned down on January 18th. He says he lost about 20 years of his work. All of his artbooks, sketches, hard drives, laptops, and equipment were lost in the fire. Bespoke Creative His studio was built by his late father, who passed away in 2013.
A renowned Colorado artist has launched a GoFundMe campaign to get the tools he needs to rebuild his studio and keep working.
“I have never felt so vulnerable and raw. When I woke up, I felt like a ghost of my former self. It feels impossible to put into words what it feels like to witness the disintegration, a deadly hell of smoke rising into the air.”

For those unfamiliar with Jones, he’s been a central figure in the electronic music community for quite some time. He created his art for his Tipper and his STS9 albums, has been featured on Burning Man, Lightning in a Bottle, and Lost Lands, and his psychedelic creations adorn fan walls and apparel around the world.
“I’m at a loss. The grief is extraordinary,” Jones continued. “The barn was more than just a place. It was the highest manifestation of my creative potential. As an ever-evolving sculpture, it was my most prized work of art. This place held my madness and all of my magic Yesterday I was too burned to believe I was the same person It was my sacred safe place But now it’s been removed from reality, leaving behind the horrific remains of smoldering corpses.And now I have to discover who I am without it.What am I doing now?
